Dave Forster covers law enforcement and courts in Suffolk.

Dave Forster joined The Virginian-Pilot as the Suffolk public safety reporter on April 25, 2006. He came to Virginia from Fargo, N.D., where he worked 3½ years as a reporter for The Forum.

He is originally from Minnesota and graduated in 2002 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

Dave resides in Portsmouth.
