Debbie covers regional transportation issues. Her reporting responsibilities include light rail, the area's road network and the airports. The beat encompasses a number of public agencies: Hampton Roads Transit, the Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization, the Virginia Department of Transportation, the Commonwealth Transportation Board and the Norfolk Airport Authority.
