Gregory Richards writes about ships, trains and trucks, and the men and women who operate them.

Greg joined the Pilot in 2006 after working at The Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville, Fla., where he covered business and, later, government.

He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architectural engineering and from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a master’s degree in city planning. He grew up in Pottstown, Pa., near Philadelphia.
