Jon Glass covers business news for The Virginian-Pilot

Jon earned a journalism degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He has worked for The Virginian-Pilot since 1988. While at the newspaper, he has been a general assignment reporter in the Pilot’s Nags Head bureau; covered government and politics in Virginia Beach; and covered Norfolk City Hall and the city’s public schools system.

He has co-won several state press awards with colleagues, including for in-depth and investigative reporting projects involving Norfolk’s Church Street and special education. He won a Pilot award for accuracy in reporting in 2006.
