Kyle Tucker covers Virginia Tech football for The Virginian-Pilot and writes a popular blog on Tech football on Pilot Online.

Kyle has been a sportswriter at The Virginian-Pilot since June of 2003. Before that he covered nine high schools, one Division I college and the NFL’s Tennessee Titans at a small daily newspaper in Tennessee, called The Leaf-Chronicle. Since coming to The Virginian-Pilot, Tucker has covered high school football, boys basketball, baseball and wrestling. Last fall, he was the Virginia Tech football beat writer and covered the Hokies’ run to the Sugar Bowl.

Kyle is a native of Clarksville, Tenn., and plans eventually to become a syndicated columnist and author.

He is 23 years old, single and lives in Norfolk. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University.
