Larry Printz writes about automobiles for The Virginian-Pilot every Friday in the Auto Weekly section.

Larry joined the Virginian-Pilot in April 2006. He views automotive coverage as being more about lifestyle than simply the latest models.

Prior to joining the staff, he spent eleven years as an automotive columnist for The Morning Call in Allentown Pa. His columns have been carried worldwide by Los Angeles Times-Washington Post Syndicate, KRT and Tribune family wire. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1985. He is a Vice-President of the Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving and Chowder Society and a member of the National Cartoonists Society.
