Meghan Hoyer is The Pilot’s data editor.
She moved to Norfolk to work at The Pilot in 2003. Prior to her current job, she wrote enterprise stories, mostly about Norfolk and Porstmouth. She also covered Portsmouth city government for more than four years. She worked at the Louisville Courier-Journal and the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette prior to The Pilot.
Meghan graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in journalism and a concentration in urban studies.
