This story should surprise no one. Kids universally don't like clowns, a study found. Good. I don't like clowns either. I've never had a negative experience but it strikes me all as a bit too ... I don't know, vaudeville. I don't find them frightening, just kind of creepy. Mimes, on the other hand? I have no problem with mimes.
There's a debate right now about the Facebook application "Scrabulous" and the board game "Scrabble." The Facebook app is blatantly a rip-off. But this article raises some good points on how Hasbro could play the situation to their benefit.
