Posted to: Olympics Sports

University of Florida senior J.B. Walsh was at his best in last month's Southeast Asian Games.

The Ocean Lakes graduate snared two gold and two silver medals at the swimming competition in Thailand. Walsh swam personal best times to win the 200-meter butterfly in 2 minutes, 0.45 seconds and finishing second in the 100 fly at 55.47.

His 200 victory earned him a berth on the 2008 Olympic team for his native Philippines.

Back in the United States last week, he helped the No. 5 Gators to a victory against Purdue with a third place in the 200 butterfly.
