From our newest Tsismis' blogger Julius Legara. Julius is a computer tech and a webmaster for www.infomaxcentral.net Otherwise, you might see him lending his sound, lighting, and videographer tech skills for various Fil-Am organization parties & events in Hampton Roads.
When Christine "Happy Slip" Gambito posted her first video blog yesterday, it brought tears to thousands of fans worldwide. Christine's Mom hid a note in her luggage & after reading it she got very emotional.
For the first time Happy Slip fans got to witness her down to earth human side as oppose to the very funny & high energy Happyslip characters she portrays in her videos.
The scene was very touching & emotional as she expressed the sentimental value of her journey back to the Philippines. As the new Tourist Ambassador for the Philippine Department of Tourism, Christine dedicated the 2 week trip to her Mom & Dad for it was always their dream to have Christine visit her parents homeland.
The emotions were high as she wished her parents could have been there with her to experience this historic trip.
On her Blog page, many 2nd & 3rd generation Filipino-Americans really connected with what Christine was going through on this trip. Lots of them have not had the chance to visit the Philippines yet,and others have not had the opportunity for a return visit after several years. Overall her fans sympathize along with her, are happy & excited about the trip just as much as she is,and wish her a safe & enjoyable journey.
Through the video blogs, her fans get to experience the Philippine homecoming trip just as if we're all along for the ride with her. This makes Happy Slip the perfect Philippine Tourist Ambassador!
As of this writing, she has already received over 500 comments about her 1st Manila Video Blog, be sure to check out the video.
