Missing Suffolk man found dead

SUFFOLK

Police have found the body of a Suffolk man who went missing early Wednesday morning.

Matthew Charles Giron, 28, and his vehicle were found Friday morning in Hampton. Police do not suspect foul play.

Lt. Debbie George, a police spokeswoman, said Giron had not been heard from since he left his Dutchland Trail residence for work.

George said police believe that Giron left voluntarily. But there also are "circumstances that lead investigators to be concerned for his safety," she said. Those concerns were not detailed.
