Granby 40, Churchland 35
 
Dallis Joyner returned from an ankle injury and spurred the Comets (13-6, 7-5) past the No. 3 Truckers  with 10 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocked shots Friday night.
 
Derek Staton contributed 12 points and seven rebounds for Granby. The victors erased a 16-12 halftime deficit.
 
Cox 54, Bayside 46
 
The Falcons (10-5, 4-2) used a 15-2 run midway in the second half to upend the No. 5 Marlins in a Beach District tussle. Sophomore Will Wentz paced Cox with 17 points, including eight in the decisive run.
 
 
Deep Creek 63,  Great Bridge 51
 
Corey Law had 23 points and 14 rebounds as the top-ranked Hornets (17-2, 14-1 Southeastern District) won their 13th straight game. Marcel Chesson added 20 more.
 
Atlantic Shores 73, Isle of Wight 41
 
Steven Pledger poured in 23 points for the seventh-ranked Seahawks (21-5, 10-0), who remained unbeaten in the Metro Conference. He also grabbed 13 rebounds. Justin Sivells contributed 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners, who broke the game open with a 22-3 third-quarter run.
 
Ocean Lakes 79, Landstown 74
 
Marcus Davis and Randall Dunn each had seven points in the fourth quarter as the Dolphins held off the surging Eagles. Davis finished with 24 points and Dunn totaled 22.
 
The duo also combined for 14 first-quarter points as Ocean Lakes jumped out to a 23-7 lead.
 
Xavier Boyce had 20 of his 32 points in the second half for Landstown, which trailed 38-23 at the break.
 
Norview 64, Maury 51
 
Ethan Newton had a game-high 17 points to lead the No. 9 Pilots. Malcolm Hawkins added 14 points. Simuel Frasier led the Commodores with 15 points.
 
Booker T. Washington 99, Lake Taylor 57
 
Quintin Spady’s 26 points triggered the Eastern District romp by the No. 8 Bookers. Lorell Waters sparked the Bookers defensively with five steals, while Earl Norflett dished out 11 assists.
 
Hickory 68, Grassfield 57
 
Andrew Burke led the Hawks with 28 points and 12 rebounds. James Colbert scored 10 of his 14 points in the  fourth quarter for the Grizzlies, who had 31 points in the period.
 
Kempsville 59, Tallwood 57
 
Aaron Brackett’s two free throws clinched the overtime victory for the Chiefs.
He finished with 10 points.
 
Salem 69, Green Run 66
 
Marcus Jones had 10 of his 16 points in the third quarter to spark a 23-11 run for the SunDevils. Ahsan Ford had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and Butch Faulcon added 17 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
