A legitimate contender

This year’s election is very special for many who have never voted or had their voices heard. Both candidates are very strong and carry a message, but only one carries a universal message that can’t be denied and may help America move forward as The United States. Keep in mind there are many Americans who fringe upon the thought of change because someone opposes the status quo, unquote. One writer wrote, will Barack change gas prices from $3.00 - $6.00. I think these writers/bloggers are smarter than you think....some would say they're educated terrorests who try to create advoc among supporters to surpress or keep you from thinking clearly. The message is clear and it’s sweeping America, so don’t be left behind. 60 years ago Afro-Americans and minorities have fought for the opportunity and the right to vote. Let’s not sit idle now if you can make a difference. It's not about race/color or gender, I think Obama can do more for the world not to say America as a whole. Remember, President Kennedy was 33 when he became President and he little or know experience. If half of America think Barack Obama will make a good President, lets not be prejudice to that thought.

Obama's Change?

Obama, I hear a lot of general references to "change" but nothing concrete? Undefined change could be a little risky like gas "changing" from $3 to $6 a gallon. A "change" in that we have increased "terrorist attacks on our soil. A "change" from paying 25% of my income in tax to a wealth redistributing 60%. A "change" from having a job, to no job. A "change" from having decent middle class healthcare to soviet style state run heath care that gives the same low quality to illegals as to the hard working middle class.

Obama lay it out in detail....

Count the votes

Look at the primary votes cast all across America. Twice as many Dems voting as Repubs. It doesn't matter who runs, the Dems have the massive vote turn out by a 2-1 margin. Folks are just tired of GW running the country into the ground. Give it up and lets fix the mess we are in...

Not another vast right-wing conspiracy fight - Take it elsewhere

To counteract the Right-wing Machine, Mrs. Clinton and her husband, have built a Clinton Machine… which seems to this independent voter as every bit as hard-nosed and dedicated to beating the “right-wing” as they are to beating her. The Clinton machine can match the Right-wing at every level…hitting back mercilessly when attacked and working the “system” to gain every advantage in what both sides think is a struggle for America.

But, it is not a struggle for America.

It is a struggle to win – at all costs. It is a struggle to crush the other side.

I am tired of this zero-sum game approach to national politics. I’m tired of the Tom Delays and Dick Cheneys, and yes - I’m tired of the Clintons. The real goals of both the Republican and Clinton machines are irrelevant to our national purpose. And, they are ignorant of our American national promise ... a people united.

Obama has no baggage?

That's because he has very little voting record. The man has been running for president for the past 2 years and ignoring Illinios. No thanks, I'm sticking with Hillary! If you think Clinton was a bad President you must really love the job George Bush is doing. A vote for McCain is nothing more than 4 more years of the Bush mentality. No thanks, I'm sticking with Hillary!

Ocillating

Being that I tend to vote along party lines, and that McCain is all but certain, in the primary I am going to vote for Obama to do my part in keeping Hillary off the ticket, then I'll vote for McCain in November.

I have a strong suspicion that our next president is going to be a Democrat this time around. If so I would not want the Clintons back in the White House. Remember the sex scandal, remember Hillary banning military uniforms in the White House,....?

Obama is still relatively CLEAN...

"...if you give him another 4-8 years as a Senator, allow him to gain experience, and establish a voting record..." then he'll be another part of the problem, like everyone else on Capitol Hill, instead of a solution. That's the appeal!

The real beauty of Obama's campaign is that it's NOT politics as usual. He DOESN'T yet owe any favors to lobbyists or the any other DC parasites. He can call them what they are & do what he can to clean up the political cesspool.

No win for the democrats

Neither obama or Senator Clinton can afford to be on the same ticket because of Senator Clinton who will force people to jump ship and obama has no real strong record to talk about. Karl rove, you did it again.

Awake Too Late

Go ahead and vote for him! This is what will happen!

I like Obama too, but...

I think the Democrats have two fine candidates in Obama and Clinton. The best argument I have heard for Obama is that he carries no baggage. I agree that it will be easier for carl rove republicans to mount their patented terrorist attacks against Hillary, but you can see from some of the demented posts already surfacing on these boards that right wingnuts will try to make Obama out to be a Muslim terrorist. And before you say, "Only the dimmest of bulbs will believe such nonsense," remember that carl rove republicans convinced those dim bulbs that a decorated war hero - Kerry- was a phony - and a AWOL phony - Bush - was a war hero. Give republicans their due - they understand how dumb blue collar conservatives are and they know how to manipulate the less intelligent into a frenzy.

TIME FOR CHANGE OBAMA 08

Obama is sweeping the nation because people are tired of the divisive politics which has been fueled by both democrats and republicans for too long. And isn't it ironic that people who try to use immigrants and poor people as scapegoats for every problem don't mind their taxpayer dollars going to Halliburton, Big Pharma, Oil companies and all kinds of corporate welfare and big business in general. I own a small business and this administration has done nothing to help me but I see my taxpayer dollars going to a war effort that is a bottomless pit, blank check for military spending, no bid contracts, downright fraud costing us billions of dollars. while funding for education and helathcare, roads etc are being cut. I am a fiscal conservative, I don't believe in spending more than you have and this administration has done exactly that. We are in deep debt with the Chinese and our dollar keeps on getting weaker, we are spending a trillion dollars in a war we had no business being in. By the way Al Quaeda was not in Iraq before we went there, they were in Afghanistan, a country that is again being run over by the Taliban and Al Quada because we are bogged down in Iraq.
Al Quaed

Reject the dwarf stars

Let’s cast aside the old hate and rage, the rumors and lies, the stealth and cunning of the whirling dwarfs and engage in an honorable and honest test of big ideas.

Let the American people focus on the issues that challenge us today – eliminating the terrorists, maintaining a strong national defense, stabilizing our powerful economy, ending the flow of illegal immigrants across our borders, correcting our dependence on foreign oil, and improving the health of our families, our neighbors, and our planet.

We must break from the gravitational pull of shrill bickering and bitter curses. We must choose instead a rising trajectory of honest discourse about America’s future.

John McCain and Barack Obama: – powerful voices for honest, clear choices.

Red Dwarfs and Blue Dwarfs

If we could turn the Hubble telescope to focus on our Presidential contest we would see two dwarf stars, dense and intensely swirling gas – one red and one blue – caught in each other’s gravitational field – revolving around a random point in space as they are drawn into a death spiral of total irrelevance. They are the opposite sides of the same problem.

The Republican conservatives and the Clinton nihilists are oscillating around each other in a meaningless dance of angry rhetoric – disconnected from common national purpose and ignorant of national promise.

We must turn aside from this cosmic diversion and focus instead on two honest candidates who have eschewed the gridlock of Washington status-quo machine politics.

Neither Obama or Hiliarous are ready to be President

Obama, this guy makes me scared that i will have to pay more taxes to support the illegal's who send all their money home.

Old Hill, well if she wins then I hope she gets a 22 year old football intern and has her way like Bill.

McCain- this idiot wants to give free college to illegals in the country. What about the people who are here already that can't afford to go?

It doesn't look good for next 4 years.

As for Bush, say what you want, but he took the fight to Al-Queda and didn't sit back waiting for the next attack.

Barack is Ready!!!

Barack's message is not about himself. His message is about each of us as Americans and what we all must do to help our country. Each of us can make a difference everyday, but so often we sit back and expect someone else to do all the work! So often we elect officials and we don't even stay involved after the election, but complain when something goes wrong! Making a difference can be something as simple as helping your neighbors, cleaning up your community, mentoring a child, or volunteering to help the poor or needy to name a few. Extraordinary things can be done by ordinary everyday people. Stop putting all of your trust in a man or a woman. The good thing about Barack is the fact that he has not been in Washington long enough to be corrupt like so many politicians who are there now with so much EXPERIENCE. My advice to all reading this message is..."GET INVOLVED, WE HAVE WORK TO DO...YES YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!"

THE GREAT BARACK OBAMA

BARACK OBAMA'S POLITICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1.PRO homosexual marriage
2.PRO late term abortions
3.No Military service whatsoever
4.Retreat and Defeat in Iraq
5.OBAMA WAS WRONG about Iraqi "Surge"
6.OBAMA ATTEMPTED TO DEFUND soldiers in combat during a War!
7.(Obama) Former (ADMITTED) drug Addict
8.TWO YEARS Experience as a Senator (Another 2 years running as President)
9.Wants Illegal Aliens to receive drivers licenses
10.OBAMA has passed no meaningful legislation during his short two year tenure
11.OBAMA embraces some level of socialized medicine. (NANNY STATE)

At this point in time you can ascertain that I am not supporting him for some of the above said reasons. Having said that, if you give him another 4-8 years as a Senator, allow him to gain experience, and establish a voting record he clearly would make a strong Presidential candidate in the future.

"Stand for change"

A Democrat for President will already be standing for change, and Obama just hasn't told us how he thinks he can bring about all that change. Obama is not ready to be President, maybe his day will come, but not now. I'm voting for experience and that's Hillary Clinton. Senator Clinton can hit the ground running, she can unite this country better than any other candidate, and God knows after George Bush we need all the experience and help we can get.

Yay!

I'll be there!
