Tuesday's boys hoops: Stunning night as higher seeds fall everywhere

Darius Theus riddled the top-seeded Bookers for 42 points, including a 3-pointer in the final three seconds that forced an overtime Tuesday night in the Eastern District semifinal Tuesday night.
 
Norcom’s Decarlos Anderson scored all 10 of his points in the extra period as the fourth-seeded victors closed with a 19-7 run.
 
Deshaune Green contributed 25 points and 15 rebounds for the Greyhounds, while Deshawn Painter had 30 points and 17 rebounds for the Bookers.

Green Run 80, Bayside 58
 
Orlando Edwards led five Stallions (12-11) in double figures with 18 points as the stunned No. 1 seed Bayside (18-6) in a Beach District quarterfinal.
 
“Green Run came out on fire and really took it to us,” Bayside coach Martin Russ said.
 
Joe Jones added 17 points and Rahmel Glover 16 for the No. 8 seed winners..
 
Landstown 62, Ocean Lakes 57
 
Landstown (12-10) jumped out to a 16-4 lead in the first quarter and forced No. 2 seed Ocean Lakes (16-7) into 24 turnovers, but had to go two overtimes to win it.
 
The Eagles used clutch foul shooting in both overtimes to overcome the Dolphins late surge.
 
Reggie Williams was 6 of 7 from foul line and finished with 19 points for the victors. Allen Powell added 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists. 
 
Salem 54, Kempsville 44
 
The sixth-seeded SunDevils (14-8) upended the No. 3 seed Chiefs in another Beach quarterfinal stunner.
 
David Boyd keyed Salem’s success with 16 points, six steals and five rebounds.  He converted all five of his shots from the field. Salem never trailed after amassing a 26-14 halftime lead.

Tallwood 61, Cox 60 No details available on the No. 4 Falcons getting upset by No. 5 Tallwood.
