Beach teen admits threatening classmates on MySpace

Posted to: Crime Education News Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH

A Kempsville High School student pleaded guilty on Tuesday to posting a threatening message to his classmates on MySpace earlier this month.

Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judge Winship Tower ordered the boy, whose name is being withheld because of his age, held pending a hearing Wednesday to determine his custody status.

The teen was charged with threatening to kill or injure people on school property after a parent saw the posting and called police. The charge would be a felony if he were treated as an adult, prosecutors said.

Put the kid in the slammer!

Try the punk as an adult, put him in prison along with his parents and let the boy's and girl's in prison punish them.

Tried as an adult

He should be tried as an adult and so should his parent(s). It seems to be the only we will ever reach these kids.
