SUFFOLK
Police have identified a man whose body was found in a parked car Sunday night in the Pughsville area as 39-year-old Terry Lamont Wilson of the 300 block of Wellons Street.
The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Norfolk where the cause of death will be determined, but it appears to be suspicious, said Lt. Debbie George, police spokeswoman.
Chesapeake police initially responded to the scene about 7:30 p.m. after a 911 caller reported the car near the intersection of Wise and Clifton streets. But the car was actually parked just over the city line in Suffolk, so the case was turned over to that city.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
