The photos have raised concerns about Leinart's commitment to training, but when asked about his conditioning, Leinart replied that he was working on a six pack.

 

Reel problem

Here's a tip: If Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui asks if you want to join him for a film session, decline. According to the New York Daily News, Matsui has an extensive collection of pornographic movies. In light of this, Matsui, who recently got married, surely has a blushing bride.

 

 

 

O'ersight

When it first went on display last Monday, the Ernie Banks statue outside of Wrigley Field was absent an apostrophe, reading, "Lets Play Two." It figures. Baseball has long been opposed to contraction.

 

 

 

Sounds extravagant

The English national soccer team gave David Beckham a 32-gigabyte golden ipod to commemorate his 100th game of international competition. Unlike Beckham, the device can play for hours.

 

 

 

Bowled over

Cereal producer General Mills has decided to be Richard Childress Racing's lucky charms, agreeing to sponsor a car in 2009. Upon hearing the news, the Childress team let out three cheerios.

 

 

 

Don't run wild

Six Maasai tribesman from Tanzania participating in the London Marathon on April 13 have been issued a cultural guide to Britain to help them understand both what to expect and what is expected of them during their visit. Among the advice they are to heed: don't use the sun as a timekeeping device, don't attempt to herd any animals you encounter, don't spit or pee in public and wear underpants. Those are the very same societal rules The Buzz's mother told us to follow.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is paranoid of past playbooks popping up on eBay and tells the team to buy them. Tomlin doesn't conduct the searches himself. He has an assistant do his bidding.

 

 

 

Best in showtime

Lakers coach Phil Jackson can command multimillionaires to perform precise plays, but when it comes to controlling his canine, he needs a little help. Jackson and girlfriend Jeannie Buss appeared on the TV show "Dog Whisperer" with their pooch, Princess Cujo. Jackson learned a lesson in patience and promised not to hound the refs so much.

Toilet paper maker Cottonelle is trying to encourage NASCAR fans to partake in a lap 100 stretch in races this year. It should wipe out leg cramps, so The Buzz is behind the promotion.
