Cox to open two new retail stores

Cox Communications Inc. plans to open two new service and retail stores where cable customers can pay their bills, drop off or pick up equipment, and ask questions.

A new location at 209 Village Ave. in York County opens Friday. Another store at 725 Eden Way North in Chesapeake opens April 25 and replaces a former Cox service site on Battlefield Boulevard.

Both new stores also allow customers to see and try Cox's high-definition cable television and high-speed Internet services. Each location will host a grand-opening event from noon to 3 p.m. on its opening date.
