PORTSMOUTH
A pizza delivery driver who was shot late Friday has died, police said early this morning.
Ann Hope, a police spokeswoman, said the shooting occurred in the 5600 block of Craneybrook Lane, not far from Churchland Park, off Cedar Lane.
She identified the victim as Robert Edward Kiesewetter, 50, of the 3800 block of Yaupon St.
Neighbors said the incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. at the Edgefield Apartments where Kiesewetter had come to make a delivery for Papa John's Pizza.
"We do not have any suspects at this point," Hope said Saturday afternoon, and there was no description available of the gunman.
Kiesewetter also delivered newspapers for The Virginian-Pilot.
