Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they say robbed a 7-Eleven in the 6400 block of Townpoint Road just after 11 p.m. Sunday.

The robber, described as a white male between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 5-foot-8 and 150 to 200 pounds, wore a black hooded sweatshirt and had a “surgical-type mask” over his face, according to a news release from the Suffolk Police Department. He carried a handgun and fled the store on foot, police said. No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Herbert Bruce at 514-7939 or Crime Line at 1-888-Lock-U-Up.
