Chris Roberson's ninth-inning grand slam lifted the Norfolk Tides to a 9-6 win against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Friday night in Allentown, Pa., ending the Tides' 10-game losing skid.

With the score tied at 5, Tike Redman and Eider Torres singled to start the ninth. After Luis Terrero's sacrifice bunt moved both runners up, Oscar Salazar was walked intentionally to load the bases and bring up Roberson.

The Tides rallied from a 5-2 deficit by scoring in each of the final three innings. Adam Stern's sacrifice fly in the eighth scored Roberson to tie the score at 5.

Salazar's double in the first scored Redman with the game's first run. Terrero's single in the third scored Mike McCoy to make it 2-0.

Redman went 4 for 5 with three runs.

Esteban Yan (1-2) earned the win by pitching a scoreless eighth inning.
