Averett University of Danville, which operates satellite campuses in Chesapeake and Newport News, today announced the appointment of Tiffany McKillip Franks as its 24th president.
Franks currently is executive vice president of Greensboro College in North Carolina, and has 20 years’ experience in higher education.
More than 320 of Averett’s 2,500 students study at its Hampton Roads locations.
