Bailey's five RBIs rally Pawtucket past Tides

Jeff Bailey hit a three-run homer and added a two-run double to help Pawtucket overcome a four-run deficit Sunday and top the Norfolk Tides 8-5 at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I.

Norfolk (13-23) jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the third inning on RBI singles by Brandon Fahey and Scott Moore and a two-run double by Oscar Salazar.

Bailey helped Pawtucket (22-16) rally for three runs each in the bottom of the third and fourth innings to go ahead for good at 6-4.

Chris Waters (0-2) suffered the loss for the Tides.

Norfolk will conclude its series in Pawtucket tonight.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Orioles called up Tides infielder Alex Cintron on Sunday and sent righthanded pitcher Bob McCrory to Norfolk.
