Blackwater donates $2M in services to USO

Blackwater Worldwide will provide $2 million in services for the USO during the next four years, the organizations announced on Thursday.

The North Carolina-based military contractor will provide logistical support for homecoming celebrations and entertainment tours. The USO, a private, non-profit organization, produces welfare, morale and recreation services for active duty service members and their families around the world.

But this does not pertain to Entertainment tours in Iraq

Blackwater's presense in Iraq wont be necessasry due to the success of McCain/Bush's splurge, with all of the political reconcilliation going on coupled with the drop in violence too (if by "drop in violence" you exclude the 52 US troops KIA & the 323 wounded in the month of April08 alone). Since McCain toured a Baghdad market in March 2007 and said he was optimistic because he could walk freely in the 'hood (with an escort of 100 soldiers, 3 Blackhawks, & 2 Apache gunships overhead), 869 troops have died and 5626 have been wounded.
