Best Batman Ever!

This was the best Batman movie i have seen yet. If they don't bring back the Joke with another actor in the next movie, I think they should have the Riddler as the next villain!

Best Batman movie yet!!!

I loved this movie! It's dark and mysterious...it's sometimes funny! I could not really imagine another Joker, as I LOVE Nicholson's Joker. It's not better or worse...just different, because the first Joker was more cartoon-like. This joker is EVIL! Thing is, Heath Ledger totally deserves any award coming to him for this. He managed to take this evil character and make him sortof charming! Maggie Gyllenhal made a GREAT Racheal, and I hope Christian Bale decides to stay with the series. He's awesome! Only thing I didn't like was the Batman gravelly voice. Everytime he spoke, he did this Clint Eastwood thing which was not neccessary. Didn't think he needed to change the voice that much...sounded kindof odd. Anyway, this is an AWESOME movie and everyone should see it at least twice! I go to Lynnhaven, where all their movies are $5 during the week...even at night.

Bit of a disappointment

2

We were disappointed by "The Dark Knight." The acting, for the most part, was medicre. Heath Ledger was the exception; he raised the bar for portrayals of the Joker. We both found Christian Bale's Batman voice to be very annoying. Michael Caine merely walked through his role on his way to a paycheck. Maggie Guylenhall (not sure of the spelling) was a poor pick for the heroine; she just wasn't believable as someone that the two heroes would have found irresistable. However, if you like explosions and exaggerated fight scenes, this may be the movie for you.

Fulfillment of anticipation and more...

They broke the mold on superhero movies and made this one from scratch. This movie was enjoyable because it was less about super-human feats and more about the characters. Regardless of how good you think your home theater system is, this is worth seeing on the big screen.

Incredible Movie

You have to see this movie. Make sure you catch it in the theaters. It is much more than a superhero movie. Christopher Nolan has created a masterpiece.

Good action movie!

The movie was very dark and entertaining. Heath was evil.
Overall, 4.5 stars out of five.

DARK KNIGHT

I absolutely loved this movie. All of the characters were portrayed superbly. Christian Bale, again is just wonderful as Batman. Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two Face was very, very good casting. He was just great in that part. Heath Ledger as The Joker, well, all I can is WOW!! I really wasn't expecting such a great performance but he truly owned the part and delivered a mesmarizing performance. Absolutely deserving of all the accolades he's getting.

Brilliant!

If you liked Nolan's Batman Begins I suspect you'll be absolutely thrilled with this sequel. This is NOT your typical summer popcorn flick. Don't expect Iron Man (even though that was a great movie too)
This movie is very deep, dark (as the title suggest) and character driven. It does have some great action, but this is more of a psychological thriller/Crime drama than an action flick. Also, this movie is NOT for children. It's PG-13, but could almost have been rated R. The actors (especially Ledger RIP) are at the top their game. I believe this film will be a serious contender for
Oscar consideration.

Best Movie of the Summer

Lived up to all the hype, Ledgers performance is awesome as the Joker.
