How many times has this happened to you:

You see a woman who is nothing short of a knockout and he man she's with and ask yourself, "How did THAT guy get THAT girl?"

The formula just doesn't add up! A woman who is beautiful, talented and best of all , RICH ends up with a guy who isn't all that noteworthy in looks, talent or income-and yet she stays with him.

I'll give women this, they can earn an "A" for loyalty, but i think it'd might have something more to do with the fact that she might want to change that which cannot, at it's core BE changed-a man.

Or worse, you see the aforementioned couple and they're splitting up because HE has an affair on his beautiful, talented and RICH wife. I'd be like, "okay dude, first of all you married WAY over your head and now you're having an affair behind the back of the woman you don't even deserve?"

To this simple ol' truck drivers way of thinking, that just doesn't make any sense. Which is why I was thunderstruck to learn this week that Shania Twain is getting a divorce from her husband, Mutt Lange. This is one guy who married WAY out of his league and then has an affair?

I should think that getting lucky enough to marry a honey like Shania Twain would qualify as a "you'll NEVER get this lucky again" thing.

Closer to the planet where I live, I once knew a sweet, long-legged cool-drink of water, a blonde Mississippi Queen, a true Southern Belle in EVERY sense of the word named "Wanda" many years ago. She was just enough of an air-head to make her endearing but she was married to some oaf who worked in the truck repair shop.

This idiot didn't even send her flowers on Valentines day and spend that weekend doing something with his friends and not his totaly hot wife.

Then this guy acts all surprised when Wanda left him! Let me tell you what, if I had a sweet little number like that to go home to, if she ever left me I'd have the bloodiest knees in the country from crawling around on them to get her to come back.

Well Miss Shania, I am here waiting for you and my cats should make up for many of my faults-have your people get in touch with me and I stand ready, willing and able to be "that guy" who got "that girl" and leave others scratching their head, wondering how I did it!
