Synopsis
"The Incredible Hulk" kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular Super Heroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. With such a great cast, I was looking forward to seeing this movie. Unfortunately, the "Hulk" is a weak effort by everyone involved. Very uneven. Some of the special effects are cool, some are laughably cheesy. Some of the acting is decent, but most of it is rather lame. The fact that the story itself is boring doesn't help. There were much better movies out this year in the comic book genre such as "Iron Man" and "The Dark Knight". See one of those instead.
incredible hulk
decent comic book flick with mediocre acting and story. somewhat disappointing in the action department because they definitely don't waste time with character development - William Hurt is especially weak.
Last thing, the Hulk (2003) remains underrated and tops the Incredible Hulk by quite a bit. The new version is definitely more of a generic and simple action movie that tries nothing new and demands even less.

This movie has all the right
This movie has all the right ingredients: good cast, great special effects, cult-status storyline. But unfortunately, after a strong start it lost momentum and became tedious. About halfway through, I started to lose interest, and by the final scenes I was checking my watch, just waiting for it to end. I thought it was a so-so movie, and a bit of a disappointment.
