LDS confusion

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, also known as the Mormons. It worries me how many people confuse us with the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is against my church's belief to practice polygamy, and we do not wear floor-length skirts every day.

The only reason LDS members do not practice polygamy is because it was outlawed. FLDS chose to rebel and continue their practice of polygamy and LDS split to abide by the laws of the land. The most ridiculous thing about the whole situation is that their teachings refer to polygamy as a way to quickly populate the earth. The earth is quite populated now. Even based on their own beliefs, polygamy should have been abandoned long ago, but they continue because the men in charge are power happy, misogynistic perverts.

The first church's name has 8 words. The other church's name has nine words of which 8 are exactly the same as the fist church. Yes I could see how people would get them mixed up...fundamentally..
