Synopsis

Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have lain forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents. As the monarch roars back to life, his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force--unless the O'Connells can stop him first.

Not very good!

Don't waste your money or time. This sequal is nothing like the first two movies. They will need to reboot this series in order to save it!

Mummy 3 is weak

2

This movie was a minor letdown. I didn't expect much, having read the reviews, but was still disappointed. The sets and effects were good, but the plot is weak, the acting is mediocre and there's no chemistry vetween the actors. It's as if each character was just going through the motions, and wanted the movie to end as much as I did. 2 stars, and that's a stretch.

What no old Evie?

2

I was stoked about the third movie but I was sorely disappointed. There is some new actress playing Evie (Maria Bello), that doesn't ever come close to the previous actress (Rachel Weisz) and they even make a joke of it in her introduction in the film. They have some hapless 20 something playing their son that looks too old to be a college student in the 30s-40s. They almost add enough CGI to plug the plot holes until Brendan Fraser spends most of his little time on screen sounding like he has a cold or laryngitides. Wait for video.
