Police identify man shot on Lincoln Street in Norfolk

NORFOLK

Police have identified the man shot early Sunday morning on Lincoln Street as James Calvin Malone, 19, of Norfolk.

He was in stable condition Sunday evening at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, said Sgt. Jim Robertson of the Norfolk police.

Around 6:40 a.m., police responded to 811 Lincoln for a report of a gunshot victim, Robertson said. Malone suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

There is no information on a suspect, Robertson said.

Police obtained a search warrant for the house and were investigating inside it.
