Traffic: I-664 closed at Bowers Hill by single-vehicle wreck

CHESAPEAKE

All traffic is stopped on Interstate 664 because of a single-vehicle wreck with injuries, State Police say this evening.

The crash occurred in the northbound lanes shortly after 6:15 p.m.

The scene is at the Bowers Hill Interchange near Exit 15 for Route 58.

State Police said the Nightingale Helicopter ambulance has been called to land at the scene and carry out a badly injured person from the wreck.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
