PORTSMOUTH

A train derailment has blocked traffic on High Street in the vicinity of Confederate Avenue.

No injuries or spills were reported, said Battalion Chief Ronnie Early of the fire department, who said an engine came off the tracks.

Motorists in the area can detour to London Boulevard, which has an overpass over the tracks, said Ann Hope, police spokeswoman.
