Synopsis

"Twilight" is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Wash., she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn't have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella's soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance. To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for--a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when a clan of new vampires--James, Laurent and Victoria--come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?

loved it

This was a really great movie. I loved it.

One Of My All Time Favorite Movies and Book Series

This is one of my all time favorite movies. The nuances of the acting... facial expressions, gestures, and vocal intonations by Bella, Edward, and Jacob created a realism not often attained as so many Sci Fi, action flicks rely heavily on special effects. After watching the movie, I listened to all four audio books in the series. Because the Twilight book is more detailed, it's better, but this movie is destined to become a classic. I'm looking forward to New Moon, the next movie already in production, and hope that there will be a follow-on "next generation" series of books about Renessme and Jacob. For those looking for more like this series, the Moonlight TV Sci Fi series and Sookie Stackhouse book series are available. The're both geared toward a more adult audience.

Twilight

The movie was really great,I wasn't really expecting the movie to follow as well and as closely as it did to the book, but I was pleasantly surprised. Kirsten Stewart makes a great awkward, clumsy, and likeable Bella. Robert Pattinson is 100% irresistable and every bit as handsome and charming as Edward should be. The books are better than the movie, but this movie is worth it if your not willing to read the 600 pages and more in each book. I can only hope that the rest of the series of movies are just as good if not better.

loved this movie!!

Before I even knew a movie was in making, I had every intention of reading the books, but for some reason just never got around to it. The movie was really great, which made me go out and buy the first two. I wasn't really expecting the movie to follow as well and as closely as it did to the book, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great Movie

I took my teenage daughter to see the movie the day it came out. I didn't think i would love it as much as i did. We went and saw it again today. It may not be for little kids, it would be hard for them to follow.

good movie

My wife read all the books and was eager to see this movie. She thought the movie was true to the first book and she and I both really enjoyed the movie. I thought the character build up of the main characters was done appropriately and made for a very good romance movie.

Twilight cute light drama

This is a nice start to the series, with the distance Bella & Edward maintain. No matter what you're going to love, the books are better.
*** Movie madness.... love the energy the "crowd" teenage girls gave to the movie's excitement. Edward's intro, Dr. Cullen, as well as Jacob's characters girls "SCREAMING". Very cute, however, it does leave out important contents like Jasper's gift of soothing or controlling the moods. My disappointment with the scene at the restaurant. The casting... the waitress was not a good scene... she was not BEAUTIFUL, no mention of Bella's feelings how Edward's focus was only on her. The actress didn't give even a good "waitressing" scene. The casting otherwise, awesome performances w/the book. Jacob's young teen definitely understand how he was nervous teen realistic. Bella & Edward... at first I was not happy, the dialog seemed like the editing or took something out... but then realizing again w/the book they're suppose to be scared, unassure, but yet close. Of course this is the first setting of the series. My BIGGEST complaint though was there was not enough NARRATIVE. It starts great and ends. Bella's character narrating should have been
