The year was 1958 - Hula Hoops were all the rage and Elvis was inducted into the Army! In Princess Anne County, Virginia, a new performing arts group formed to provide quality theatrical and choral entertainment for the citizens. The choral group would later become THE VIRGINIA BEACH CHORALE.
The Virginia Beach Chorale celebrates 50 years of excellence with their anniversary performance entitled "50 Golden Years," on Saturday, May 31 at 7:30pm at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.
Tickets are available from Chorale members or at the Sandler Center Box Office. For concert information call 486-1464.
