VIRGINIA BEACH
Police have arrested two men in connection with an attack at a pizza restaurant early Sunday morning.
Luis G. Manobanda, 28, of the 3500 block of Green Lakes Circle, and Ruben T. Marrero, 19, of the 3600 block of Sylvan Lane, are charged with aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of felonious assault and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The incident happened at 2:12 a.m. Sunday in the All Around Pizza restaurant in the 3500 block of Holland Road. A father and son were at the counter waiting for an order when three men, including another father and son, came into the restaurant. An argument broke out, and the three men started hitting the victims with fists and chairs.
The father had a serious head injury and the son recieved a back injury.
Police are still looking for Javier Manobanda in connection with the assault.

Who in his right mind wants to eat a pizza at 2:00 AM? Geez! At that time of morning, all the weirdos and troublemakers are out and about. I remember when I used to enter those out of town long distance running and triathlon events, you had to eat early in the morning at IHOP, Denny's, or some of the other all nighter breakfast places, and woo, the animals that frequented those places. I wish I had taken a picture. It looked like "Creeps on Parade."
