VIRGINIA BEACH
Rosemary Wilson announced Monday that she is running for re-election to the at-large seat.
Wilson, who has been on the City Council since 2000, said she plans to file for re-election today.
Wilson has been raising money and as of March 31 had $65,198, according the Virginia Public Access Project, a nonprofit group that tracks campaign contributions.
Two candidates had filed to run against her but have withdrawn.

This is Michael Ragsdale, you met me Monday at the Retreat. I was dropping a BIG hint when I explained "I live somewhere where it's impossible to get around after 6:45 PM or at all on Sundays." Yes, that somewhere is near TCC where night students have no way to get home, if you get what I'm trying to say. And no Reid, it does not cost billions of dollars. Nice try. HRT's yearly budget for the entire region is roughly $47 million.

considering she put up campaign signs during the primary, which is a city code violation btw. Hopefully someone better will get her seat.

I suggest Mr/Mrs. Allto that if you a so dissatisfied with the "poor" leadership around here then RUN FOR PUBLIC OFFICE. All you people want to do is hide behind your computers and send discouraging statements. Is this your way of being involved in local politics? Ever been to a council meeting? How about a civic league meeting? You will never understand the real issues because you cant see the BIG picture. Keep hiding behind this shield of animosity, i hope it makes you feel better.
