Verizon Wireless American Music Festival has announced the musical line-up for its 15th anniversary festival from Aug. 29-31 at the Oceanfront. Headliners include B-52's, The Motels, Billy Idol, Bel Biv Devoe, Morris Day & The Time.
Nearly 20 national and local acts ranging from rock, disco, 80's pop and reggae wil perform all weekend-long at the 5th Street Main Stage, and city stages at 17th Street, 24th Street and 31st Streets. The line-up will also incude 'American Idol' finalist Phil Stacey, En Vogue, Eddie Money, Los Lobos and the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Local acts to be featured include the BoDeans, Mystic Soul Bubbas and War.
Headliner tickets range from $15-$25. A Passport Pin can be purchased for $30, which will buy admittance to all headlining acts.
The annual music fest runs concurrent with Sunday's Rock 'n' Roll Half-Marathon.
