Charlotte pitchers Charlie Haeger, Scott Sauerbeck and Jason Childers combined to hold the Norfolk Tides scoreless over the last four innings Thursday night, leading the Knights to 6-5 victory in Fort Mill, S.C.

Royce Huffman's RBI double and Javier Castillo's run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth gave the Knights a 6-5 lead, capping their rally from a 5-2 deficit.

Norfolk scored three runs in the second to take a 3-1 lead. Omir Santos hit his first home run, a two-run shot to leftfield, and Tike Redman added an RBI single.

The Tides added single runs in the third on Luis Terrero's seventh homer of the season and in the fifth on Luis Hernandez's RBI single.

Jim Miller (1-2) allowed five hits and two runs in relief to take the loss for Norfolk.

The Tides return to Harbor Park for an eight-game homestand, starting with a doubleheader against Durham at 6:15 tonight.

Earlier Thursday, the Baltimore Orioles activated righthander Fernando Cabrera from his rehabilitation assignment with the Tides after placing righty Matt Albers on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.

Cabrera began the season on the Orioles' 15-day disabled list after undergoing offseason surgery on his right elbow.
