Drake's Democratic challenger gets Webb's endorsement

A vote for Thelma Drake is a vote to continue the inept President Bush.

So it's okay for the religious reactionaries to impose their religious views (gay marriage, abortion, prayer in school, etc) but not okay for someone outside the experience of the religious reactionaries to follow hi sreligious conviction? Says a lot about the right and their inability to see past religion. As far as Thelma she was/is nothing more than a pro-Bush vote without a sense of individuality or any intelligence. To see the seat of Whitehurst fall to such an imbecile is sad.

Webb endorses someone so what - do you hear the Demos doing anything about high energy prices? Have they mentioned anything about high energy prices hurting the consumer? The Demos and their media allies are only interested in seeing as much pain and suffering happen and then be able to blame it on George Bush. Think I'm kidding, what help has the Demo - led Congress been in the housing slide - they are on the sidelines applauding - now they have issues to blame on the Republicans - bad economy; for over 18 mos. their media puppets have been put negativity in the minds of the American consumer - there for awhile it was the R word - recession and now its the G word - high gas prices.
When you pull the lever next November - remember it will be the T word - taxes; the Democrats are for income redistribution and you are going to be taxed and taxed and taxed like you have never been taxed before. But, remember you voted them in! Especially the ego maniac Webb.

Tim Kaine... lying and imposing his religious beliefs on us by commuting a murderer's death sentence imposed by the qualified Judges.

Bobby McCabe... not having the independence or intestinal fortitude to remove state felons from our jail.

I am a Navy veteran and follow all legislation before Congress which impacts active duty and retired military personnel. Thelma Drake has consistently sponsored, endorsed, and voted for legislation which supports and benefits this important constituency. I have requested and received prompt, courteous, and effective assistance from her and her staff on Veterans Administration issues which were stalled in "red tape." The voting process in Congress can be very convoluted, steeped in quid pro quos, and a vote for or against an issue is not always what it seems. She is NOT in lock step with the White House. Case in point: Higher TRICARE premiums pushed by the Pentagon and administration for several years. She has fought hard AGAINST them. I, for one, am convinced she has done a terrific job supporting the military in her district.

A democratic announces he's gonna support a democratic and this is news? Times must be slow!! He sure waited to cover his bases about who he was going to support for prez. Such a brave fellow, that webb guy.

And she sealed her own coffin by voting against the GI bill that Webb introduced just because "she didn't want to vote for a bill the President has promised to veto".

Well Ms Drake, you have pie on your face and betrayed your Military District just because you don't represent us but Bush. The bill passed with a veto proof majority and now your "decider" has flipped and wants to expand it to spouses and children of vets.

You Will be gone and not worthy of history just as W in November.

That's a heck of a lot more experience than Thelma Drake-Bush has. In VA people voted for Obama, because it was a sad case of ANYONE but Hillary. I'll be voting for Nye for that same readn, because I don't want anymore of Drake-Bush in my district. After Bush has left the Oval Office who will tell Drake-Bush how to think and how to vote?
