VIRGINIA BEACH
Lawrence Teator, a political newcomer, has filed to run for the at-large seat on the Virginia Beach City Council.
Teator retired from computer sales and services and moved to Virginia Beach four years ago, he said.
He will face incumbent Rosemary Wilson in the November elections. Wilson is finishing her second term in office. Wilson had amassed $65,198 as of March 31, according to the Virginia Public Access Project, a non profit group that tracks campaign contributions. Candidates have until June 10 to file to be eligible for the November election.
