Police arrested two people Wednesday night in connection with a homicide earlier this month.
Officers found 31-year-old Cleavonne Tynes suffering from several gunshot wounds in the 300 block of E. Little Creek Road on June 8. Tynes died two days later at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, police said.
On Wednesday police arrested Deonte Mayfield, 19, and Donte White, 21, both of Norfolk. Mayfield faces charges of murder, malicious wounding, robbery and using a firearm; and White faces charges of murder and using a firearm, police said.
