NORFOLK

Norfolk police Wednesday night identified a man killed in an early-morning shooting as Rondale Wilson, 27, of Virginia Beach.

Officers were called at 1:45 a.m. to the 200 block of W. 30th St., where they found Wilson suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment, police said. He was dead at the scene, police said.

Police obtained warrants charging Hubert A. Jason II, 25, with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

They were searching for Jason last night, said Officer Chris Amos, a police spokesman.

Jason’s address was not available. Detectives did not say what they think might have led to the shooting.
