Police identify man killed in wreck on Eastern Shore

Virginia State Police have identified a man killed Wednesday in a motorcycle crash on the Eastern Shore as Charles Tilgham, 38, of Northampton County.

The Yamaha motorcycle he was operating collided with a pickup at 5:05 p.m. on U.S. 13 in Onley, Virginia State Police said.

Tilgham was driving south near Washington Street when he collided with a Chevy S-10 that pulled in front of him from a parking lot, Sgt. Michelle Cotten said.

She identified the driver of the Chevy as Betty Lou Reid, 60, of Onley.
