A man who was shot Sunday morning on East Little Creek Road has died and police now are investigating his death as a homicide.
Police found Cleavonne Tynes, 31, in the 300 block of E. Little Creek suffering several gunshot wounds early Sunday, said Chris Amos, police spokesman. Tynes lived in that block.
Tynes was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died Tuesday afternoon, Amos said.
Police have warrants on file charging Deonte L. “Tay” Mayfield, 19, and Donte “Tay” White, 21, with malicious wounding, using a gun during a felony and attempted robbery, Amos said.
The charges on the warrants likely will be upgraded, Amos said.
