A 55-year-old north Suffolk woman who left home early Friday is still missing, police spokeswoman Lt. D.J. George said.
Mary Jean Wilson took very few belongings with her and left a note that caused her family to fear she was in danger of harming herself, George said. Wilson was driving a green Mitsubishi Outlander with Virginia license plate JHP-4726. There is an ODU parking sticker somewhere on the vehicle.
Wilson is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 128 pounds, according to George. She has brown hair and green eyes. Wilson likes to frequent malls, libraries and the Norfolk Botanical Garden.
