I saw that!!!

Ahno and Porque volunteer all over town, babysit grandkids, do projects, have far too much fun saying what they think.

Too Bad

I admire that Hillary Clinton, unrepentantly, is who she is. In a world of people willing to slither right, left, or center in order to please various constituencies, this woman stays on message.

If she’d been a nicey-nice team player, her candidacy would have expired months ago. Instead she stuck to her course, and has begun…too late, admittedly…to pick up steam.

Tonight, she’ll probably have to concede defeat. But…being who she is…I bet she makes nice while not actually abandoning her campaign.

Nothing would surprise me less than the sight of Hillary Clinton at the Democratic Convention podium, making a last and impassioned appeal for her place as the people’s choice.

I like that she made it this far. Had she begun differently, she’d have buried B.O. a while back. As it is, her campaign is strongest at the moment of its death. Hillary Clinton is one of the interesting characters of our time. I wish she could have been president.

But, according to her, several years ago, and I quote:

"WE are the President", so hasn't she already had her turn?

I'm sorry, I am a woman, and I would like to see a woman in office, just not this one. What you view as ambition, drive and focus, I see as arrogance, self centeredness and lack of caring about the actual people. It's all about Hillary.

I disagree

"In a world of people willing to slither right, left, or center in order to please various constituencies..."

I got the feeling that she ducked left, right, and center because she was not gaining on Obama. Her gas-tax holiday plan was pure vote pandering. Her 'obliterate iran' statement was warmongering to appear tough. Her Iraq war vote would be an enormous anchor in the general election. Her repeated falsehood about dodging make-believe sniper fire was beyond the pale. Her "White voters dig me" statement sounded race-card-esque.
