Addicted to Pop

A big fan of all things entertainment, Kristi Kastrounis dishes on the latest reality TV shows, movies and celeb stories. She can’t get enough of pop culture and Diet Coke. And, hailing from Minnesota, she’ll never learn to call pop "soda."

All things Warped - my day at the Vans Warped Tour

Yesterday I spent all day at the Vans Warped Tour at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater - and, in punk terms, it was rad. There were around 88 bands performing yesterday and I got to catch the shows of some of my favorites (missed Angels and Airwaves performance - bummer), and listen to up-and-coming bands who really impressed me.

I also got to sit down and interview bands Set Your Goals, A Cursive Memory, Cobra Starship and Metal rockers Norma Jean whose drummer is from VaBeach (but he was home so he could sleep in his own bed). I was amused by the drummer of Cobra, Nate, who did all his interviews in just gym shorts. He was pretty chill. And then when we saw him on stage with the rest of his crew, he was still rockin' out his gym shorts. The ladies love him.

Check out what else went down at the Vans Warped Tour in my video. There's music from new bands and big names and bits of my interviews with Cobra Starship and A Cursive Memory.
