A landmark building in historic Phoebus, the American Theatre was renovated in 2000 and includes state-of-the-art acoustics and sight lines. The intimate setting seats 400 on two levels with the farthest row being only 75 feet from the stage. Each seat is an original and has been artistically restored to include plush red velvet cushions and ornately decorated chair sides. Arlo Guthrie and the Tibetan Monks are just some of the singers and groups that have performed here.
