Baltimore woman killed when ejected from van on I-95

State police reported a fatal crash from early Monday morning on Interstate 95 south near Route 58.

According to spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Cotten a 62-year-old Baltimore woman was killed when the van she was driving veered off the road to the right, then to the left into oncoming lanes. 

The woman was ejected from the van, then was hit by an oncoming car trying to avoid the van, Cotten said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.  Four passengers in the van, including three children, had minor injuries. The other driver was not injured. 

The woman was not wearing a seat belt, Cotten said.
