Brookdale Farm

Posted to: Berries, Pumpkins and Local Produce Virginia Beach

Quick Facts

Hours:
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Brookdale Farm grows strawberries, sweet corn, cantaloupe, squash, watermelon, pumpkins and they also bring their neighbors' deliciously fresh tomatoes, potatoes and other fresh produce. Try Silver Princess sweet corn from the little red building off Princess Anne Road.

Strawberry picking starts at the end of April and usually last until Memorial Day and some years through mid-June. So mark your calendar because the best strawberries are the ones your pick yourself!

We love the Chesapeake location, even on a busy weekend. The berries and peas are amazing but the staff are even better. Very helpful and always smiles for my kids!! Get your basket and get picking.

I love Brookdale Fram. Their produce is fresh and delicious. Farmer Baker and his family run a top-knotch farm with wonderful educational opportunities for children. Take a hayride this Fall and you will agree Brookdale Farm is the best in Pungo.
